KNALIJ™ is a web application that addresses the challenges and opportunities posed by ‘big data’ with a new generation of information visualization tools. It offers researchers and non- scientists alike a technology platform with capabilities to rapidly discover and gain insights from the copious amounts of information being made available from the National Libraries of Medicine (NLM), through its data repositories such as PubMed.
Data in the Blink of an Eye™. KNALIJ recognizes the ‘connections’ linking bio-medical and life sciences research and researchers around the world, and visualizes those linkages. This makes them clear, intuitive, and even playful by providing interactive ‘information communities’ for exploration, analysis, and education.
Art Evolved™ is a social network for the Art World. Our mission is to connect artists with the widest audience possible. The centerpiece is the Art Flow, a streaming display of Art uploaded and detailed by our member artists. Art Evolved is open to anyone with serious artistic aspiration or appreciation.
Moving beyond Web 2.0. Social media applications such as Facebook and Twitter provide mass collaboration, connections and an atmosphere for expression within a dynamic space. Art Evolved seeks to build upon this Web 2.0 foundation and provide our members with the ability to reach out around the web and the “real world” to tell their story, connect, collaborate, sell and find new avenues in the art world.
